Which component guides the missile after launch?

Guidance electronics unit (GEU)

The component that guides the missile after launch is the Guidance Electronics Unit. This is the onboard brain that processes data from the seeker and other inputs, computes the necessary course corrections, and sends commands to the missile’s flight control to steer toward the target. The seeker dome is the sensor that detects and tracks the target, but it doesn’t steer the missile by itself. The infrared sight belongs to the operator for aiming and targeting, not to in-flight guidance. The launcher or launch tube assembly simply holds and fires the missile; it doesn’t guide it once it’s airborne. So the Guidance Electronics Unit is responsible for guiding the missile after launch.
